Jose Villa Mexico Workshop Part II | Unseen Photos

Bride in Claire Pettibone gown

It occurred to me that I never did feature a second blog post highlighting some of the gorgeous gowns and lavish details modelled by the ever-fabulous Jana William + Dave Baez, and Ryan and Cary Ray.  These couples lent their natural beauty and true love for one another to Jose Villa’s 2011 photography workshop set in the languid hills of Guadalajara, Mexico.  I really wanted to make sure you got a chance to see the wedding -inspired shoot we did, especially after featuring the engagement sessions.  Here then, for your viewing pleasure, are a few unseen shots taken from the archives and laid out in all their lacy, textured glory! Gorgeous details right?  Swoon-worthy and sumptuous, there’s nothing like the extra touches to draw out the romance and personalities of a couple in love.  From a stunning setting to fix the mood, luxurious attire to highlight natural beauty, and natural light to bring warmth to a shoot, each aspect works to enhance the truth and love that already exists.  Details help to tell stories, reveal individual tastes, and provide a deeply intimate glimpse into the lives of others.  How I love photography and all it encompasses!  Many thanks again to Jose, Joel, the team that put together the 2011 Jose Villa Mexico Workshop, as well as every participant involved (some pictured below!).

And here’s one last shot for you to enjoy before the weekend.  If you’re interested in booking a shoot for you and your loved one this year there are still spaces available.  I love photographing couples in love, so if you’re getting married, celebrating an anniversary, or planning a proposal, drop me a line at jaimelaurenphotography@gmail.com and I’ll be in touch!

Until next time,

Jaime

They mean a lot coming from another fantastic photographer :-) And of course, thank you for your prayers…walking without a limp now and feeling virtually back to normal minus a severely bruised tailbone…ouch! You should DEFINITELY check out Jose’s workshop one of these years if you can make it…oh so worth it!ReplyCancel
